Materialistic things do not matter. It takes a good father to be there for his son, at any time or situation. It is the father's job to make the son a person of manhood and understandable of man knowledge. A father is to guide his son into the positive direction and make him wise to the world. It is all about what the son takes from his father's personality rather than what is given.
That is a very true statement. As I read the quote that was my exact interpretation of the post. I feel that that makes a good father as well.
